Australian battery supply chain database

The Queensland Government has established the Australian battery supply chain database to connect businesses involved in the manufacture or supply of batteries and their components.

This national tool allows emerging battery technology companies to identify business and supply chain opportunities – from mining of raw materials, through to cell manufacturing and battery pack assembly – to encourage domestic production.

Relevant businesses can add their details to the database free of charge. This helps other businesses discover and connect with you. For example, add what you produce or manufacture along the value chain (including componentry).

The database delivers on the Queensland Government’s commitment under Action 2.2 of the Queensland Battery Industry Strategy to increase local content in Queensland’s battery value chain.

It was developed in partnership with the Advanced Materials and Battery Council (AMBC).

The database is hosted by the Industry Capability Network (ICN).
